Bird Watching
About 380 species of birds have been sighted around Chiang Mai, almost 270 are local birds others are migratory birds coming from November through May. The resort itself is one of the best locations for bird watching and we have a pair of very strong binoculars at your disposal. Another famous site is the Doi Inthanon National Park on Thailand highest mountain (2565 meters) situated 66 km southwest of Chiang Mai.
